Our confidence in our performers is so strong that we guarantee your performance will be both Christ-Honoring and truly engaging.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY EVENT?

We understand that sometimes there are unforeseen, emergent circumstances that may cause our clients to cancel their booked performance. (“Emergent” is defined as an unforeseen situation such as a fire, casualty or Act of God, or other extreme cause beyond the control of the client that would entirely disable the occasion for the Event.) Because we value your time and resources as well as those of our performers, our cancellation policy under these conditions are as follows:

  • 1.)  If cancellation occurs MORE than 30 days prior to Event: Client can receive either a full credit or full refund, depending upon time and circumstances for any money paid to Outreach Events.
  • 2.)  If cancellation occurs LESS than 30 days prior to Event: Client’s initial deposit is non-refundable. A partial portion of the initial deposit and/or total monies received will be credited towards a future Event for the client if booked within 6 months of cancellation date. The other portion will be paid to the cancelled performer(s), who held a calendar date for the Event.
  • 3.)  If cancellation occurs LESS than 14 days prior to Event: Full payment is due and is non-refundable.


WHAT IF MY PERFORMER HAS TO CANCEL?

Although our performers fulfill nearly every performance they book, there are sometimes special circumstances for which they might need to cancel. These conditions are strictly of the “emergent” nature (as noted above, written in their contracts). These are the ONLY reasons we will allow Performers to cancel an Agreement/Event Date.

All performances are “play or pay,” meaning that if the performer absolutely needs to cancel, the client will receive another performer of equal or greater value at no additional cost to them. If a performer of equal or greater value is not available or acceptable, client will receive their money back or a performance credit on cancellations.


WHAT IF THE PERFORMANCE ISN'T ENGAGING?

We’re here to bring you relevant content, so it’s critical to us that you have an engaging event! If your performance isn’t engaging, call us—your satisfaction is essential to us! Outreach Events will go the extra mile and do what it takes to ensure that you are fully satisfied.




WHAT IF THE PERFORMER ISN'T CHRIST-HONORING?

Although we’re in the funny business, we take our relationship with the Lord very seriously. All of our performers are aware of our policies. Your performance should not contain any sexual innuendos, swear words or over-the-top bathroom humor. Our performer should behave in a “manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27) at all times, acting with responsibility and integrity both on and off-stage. If our performer does not follow these guidelines, PLEASE let us know!

Should we come to a mutual agreement that the performer’s behavior was, indeed, not Christ-honoring, Outreach Events will take steps of action to ensure that this behavior does not occur again. Additionally, Outreach Comedy will go the extra mile to make sure you are fully satisfied.


CAN I BOOK A PERFORMER NOT LISTED ON YOUR SITE?

Outreach Events is always looking for great talent. In the event that you may have a tried-and-true favorite or know of a fresh performer we are unaware of, Outreach Events occasionally books performers not on our roster at your request. Understand that our guarantee only stands with performers we have carefully screened, so a performer booked by special request may not be held to our guarantee. However, we will do an initial screening of a performer before we book them. Please call for availability—make sure you have the performer’s name, your Event date and your budget ready to go.


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK A PERFORMER?

Booking prices start at $1000 and range from there based on the performer, level of talent, experience, performance date and travel required. You will have the option to pay in two deposits. Don’t forget to ask about our Budget Booster ideas available to help you both pay for your Event and build your ministry’s resources! Give one of our Event Coordinators a call and we will work with you and your  Event budget—creating an Event tailor-made to your specific needs.


HOW LONG TO PERFORMANCES GENERALLY LAST?

Recommended performance times range from 45-90 minutes, based on performer and performance type. If you would like to book more than one performer, it is recommended that you not exceed 90 minutes total. Ideally, it’s best to keep your audience wanting more. This way, they’ll be ready and eager for your next Outreach Event!


HOW CAN I BECOME AN OUTREACH EVENTS PERFORMER?

Outreach Events strives to keep a tight roster of trusted performers to serve customers in the most effective way possible. Note that Outreach Events is NOT a talent agency. The performers on our roster are a valued and cherished product offering.
